Save Farm accommodation rates, general facilities and contact numbers

We had a totally fun-filled trip to Save Farm, Gholvad, never mind the heat! Do go at least once with your entire family for a few days. The accommodation will be well within your budget and total value for money. There are various types of cottages which are as per the number of members in your group.

Types of accommodation
1. Coconut Log House: This is where we stayed [Rooms 5A and 5B]. 

2. Shetkari Niwas: Large cottage with spacious verandah and stand-along swings.

3. Tulsi Vrindavan: Like #2 above
 
4. Loft Huts: The porch area seemed very cramped. Steps to climb up may be a problem for senior citizens.

5. Machaan Hut: This is not exactly a machaan as it is not on a tree, but rather on raised stilts. Will likely be a problem for senior citizens due to steps. Nice seating beneath though, quite romantic!

Tariff
You will need to contact the office via email / their website [packages section] / on phone to know the room rates as the tariff is liable to change. You can get good discounts if you stay for more nights. The options are:
1. One Day - One Night stay (10am to 9:30am the next day) includes:

• Farm Tour
• Breakfast and 2 Meals
• Accommodation in 3 & 4 bedded rooms 

2. Two Days - One Night stay (10a.m. to 3:30pm the next day) includes"

• Farm Tour
• Breakfast and 3 Meals
• Accommodation in 3 & 4 bedded rooms

3. More day-night stays: discounts offered, with more meals and the farm tour.

Trips for students and large groups (10 and more) are also arranged for a one day trip, from 9am to 3:30pm, which includes the farm tour, breakfast and lunch. The owners organize excellent trips for schools & colleges for botany & environmental studies, learning about rural development, Adivase culture & Warli art, etc. and general fun activities too.

General Facilities

• Swimming pool: Clean pool, with occasionally leaves and flowers being blown in by the breeze. There is a shower room & loom and chairs to sit on. Note that there are no attendants/life guards, so please do not let children go into the pool without parental supervision. The gate is just a latched one, with no lock, so don't let kids wander in on their own!
